Basic Plan
5,000yen（1h & half）
You can learn the 8 basic strokes of Japanes Calligraphy, then chose your favorate kanji or word.
After practicing the charactor(s), You mount your best work on the beautiful Japanese papers.
You can take it home as Souvenior and decorate it on any wall in your house.
Option
（plus 30min）
If you'd like to try to make your original Japanes fan (Uchina) hanging scroll (kakjsku) etc, An additional fee will be added as follows.

Reservation
Please make a reservation through web booking service at least 2 weekes before the lesson day.

Meet up
After your booking is completed. we'll send you the detail on the meeting point and time by email.
We'll pick you up. then walk to the venue together.

Lesson start!
You can learn the basic of Japanese Calligraphy including the 8 fundermental strokes of brushwriting ,how to hold a brush and the origin of kanji characters etc.
A Master will kinolly show you how to write with a brush in front of you and give you advise . ( You'll be instructed in English. If you don't have confidence in your English, don’t worry! we believe hands-on is the most enjoyable!)

Complete
You chose your favorate kanji or word and practice writting them by using the brushwritting tequniques you learned at “Step 3”.
(There is an optional plan, if you'd like to try to make your original Japanese fan and framed post card erc. It must be wonderful!)

Let's show your today's work each other and take pictures to keep these unforgettable moments in your mind!

at the ditferent places.

@ Irima Regional Welfare Center
This class provide you a rare oppotunity to take a lesson with local residences and children who come to the regular class. You may see the REAL scenes of Japan which you’ve never seen in sightseeing spots.
2. Master's Home
A Japanese calligraphy master offers you a "One chance in a lifetime" moment . She will welcome you to her home as her guests and teach you calligraphy with "Omotenashi" heart. We'll pick you up at Sengawa station on Keio line or Seijyogakuen-mae station on Odakyu line in Tokyo.
• Apprepriate number : 2〜6 people
• Children can take lessons from 10 y.o. If you bring your small children, they can play with toys in the other room during lessons.
• We're very sorry, but we can't accept the only men group. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellation
• 8 days or more days prior to the starting date of the lesson : No charge
• 7 days to 5 days prior to the starting date of the lesson : 50% of the lesson fee
• 4 days to the starting date of the lesson and in case of failure to show without
notice :100% of the lesson fee
* These cancellation rates must be paid in Japan time zone.
